ID Theft Prevention Tops New Years Resolution List
DENVER, Colorado — “A good New Year’s resolution for everyone would be to protect themselves from identity theft,” says R.M. Tracy of The Privacy Trust Group.
The Privacy Trust Group and two other privacy and protection companies are hosting three events at Denver-area Borders Books to help with that goal. Denny Dillard of FAST Training and Operations Group (www.ftog.net) will be on hand to answer questions about privacy, identity theft issues and self-protection. The Better Shredder’s Mark Denauser (www.thebettershredder.com) is providing one of the company’s mobile shredding units to help attendees dispose of their sensitive paper, tapes, CDs and other items.
